Connor Clark Obituary

Connor Addison Clark was born on September 16, 1992 and was greeted at the gates of heaven by his personal Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 26, 2011. Connor served Jesus faithfully by serving others his entire young life. He was the friend of many and the enemy of none. Connor's life was worthy of the first words we are confident he heard when he arrived in heaven - "Well done, good and faithful servant". Connor was born and raised in Visalia. He attended Mineral King Elementary, Valley Oak Middle School and graduated from Golden West High School in 2010. He had just completed his first year at College of the Sequoias. Connor attended Grace Community Church his entire life, where he was very active. For the past five years Connor has served in the Children's Ministries department working with the kindergarteners. He was very involved in High School Ministries, serving on the FSET leadership team for three years. Connor loved serving on mission trips and traveled to Mexico during spring break each year to serve. Following his graduation from high school, he spent two weeks on a mission trip to Guatemala doing construction projects. He was currently involved in Satellite; the college-aged, young adult ministry. Connor was always ready to help whenever a need arose. He was an amazing young man who loved his Lord. Connor loved his family, loved life and loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed family trips to the desert to ride motorcycles, trips to the coast, camping, wakeboarding, ditchboarding, as well as swimming and diving with friends. Connor loved the family's move to the country when he was ten years old. He had a great time working on the motocross track, shooting guns, and blowing stuff up; all good, fun, boy things. He loved animals, especially the family pets. Connor loved soccer, and was an avid Manchester United fan. Connor will be lovingly missed by his parents John and Wava Clark, his sister and brother-in-law, Courtney and Steven Shelton and his sister, Camris Clark, all of Visalia; grandparents Robert and Marie Neese of Strathmore, CA; Wade and Diana Clark of Santa Clarita, CA; great-grandparents Nels and Luella Bandy of Santa Clarita, CA. Connor will also be missed by his uncles, aunts, and cousins; Charles and Mickey Neese and their children, Shelby and Cody of Big Fork, Montana; Matt and Tisha Clark and their sons, Joshua, Seth, and Troy of Santa Clarita, CA; David and Kathy Bolde and their children, Paige and Carson of Santa Clarita, CA and many other family and friends. We all miss you so much Bubba! There will be a hole in our hearts until we see you again. A celebration of life service honoring Connor will be held this Friday, June 3rd at 11:00 am at Grace Community Church 424 North Lovers Lane Visalia. Donations in honor of Connor may be made to Grace Community Church Student Ministries.
