Edith Keathley Obituary
October 18, 1926 - May 21, 2015
Edith Evylin Keathley passed away May 21, 2015, peacefully with her loved ones by her side. Edith was born in Marble City, Oklahoma on October 18, 1926 to Richard and Iva Keathley. She was the eldest of five children. Edith worked as a bookkeeper for Paggi Electric for 55 years and also served as a Pink Lady at the Tulare Regional Medical Center for 19 years. She was a member of the Tulare First Baptist Church and an avid baker. She enjoyed reading and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, William Odeen Keathley, son William Keathley Jr. and daughter Iva Keathley. She is survived by her son Richard James Keathley (wife Liz), grandchildren Ritchie Keathley, Alfred Keathley, Maralee Tristo (husband George), Sunee Rocha (Husband Shad) and thirteen great-grandchildren.
There will be a viewing from 12:00 to 8:00 pm, Tuesday May 26, 2015 at Peers Lorentzen Funeral Home, 132 W. Kern Ave., Tulare and a Memorial service at 1:00 pm, Wednesday May 27, 2015 at the Tulare First Baptist Church, 469 N Cherry St, Tulare.
There will be a graveside internment after the memorial service at the Tulare First Baptist Church and then a reception immediately following at the reception hall at the Tulare First Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Tulare First Baptist Church in Tulare. Funeral Arrangements by Peers Lorentzen Funeral Service, Tulare.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise found in 1 Thessalonians 4 : 14 can bring some comfort. Knowing that there is a future for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
