Frank Sanchez Obituary

Frank Sanchez, 80, passed away peacefully Friday, February 19, 2010 in Visalia, Ca. with his loving family by his side. Frank was born on March 16, 1929 in Farmersville, Ca. He is survived by Ernestine Sanchez, his wife of 64 years; daughter Patsy and her husband Ralph Shipley, son Michael Sanchez and his wife Linda, and son Frank Sanchez Jr. He is also survived by his brother Ernie Sanchez of Tacoma, Wa, and his uncles, Steve & Stanley Sanchez of Woodlake, Ca. He also had 7 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Frank proudly served his country in the U.S. Army for 6 years including the Korean War where he was wounded and decorated for his service. Frank worked as a professional truck driver for over 35 years and took pride in his driving skills. Also, he enjoyed traveling with his family and loved spending time at the coast. Remembrances may be made to the Disabled American Veterans at www.dav.org
