Goodbye Mr. Nursery, I didn't really know you like my Mom, Olive, and my family; but your name came up now and then when I was home. Peace to those you leave behind and peace to you on this final leg of your journey to a loving and faithful God.

Farewell my friend. You are the closest person that was like a father to me. I never had one and you stepped up to the plate. I will always cherish the moments we shared, there were so many good times and rides we took, we were inseperable. You taught me so many valuable lessons. You were always there for me. We all must cross that threshold and continue our lives on a different level of consciousness. I Thank God for you, it took me a while but your steadfastness paid off and I am still clean, thanks to you. You are always alive in me. I could write a book about you but it could'nt come close to as The Man. To Betty, Chalise, Wendy, My brother Shane, My condolences,I Thank All of you for accepting me into your home and hearts. I will see you again my friend. you will not be forgotten.

I am so going to miss my uncle James. As a youth he was one of my protectors like an elder brother. Growing up he was a confidant. During my leaves while in the service I spent much of it visiting with my uncle James. He was quite the kidder and a teaser. Loved to gamble on everything from chickens to coin toss to cards, you name it. He had an unending list of humorous little songs, known only to him that he use to love to sing, most usually unsolicited. James accompanied his song list with a like joke list. James loved his family. He was always taking in people, to his home that needed a helping hand. Son of at least three First Nations linages, beginning with his father who was full blood. I was blessed with an opportunity to visit with James and pray for him before his crossing. RIP I will miss our times we shared. Your little nephew, as he always called me, no matter that I was head and shoulders taller, I'll always be your "little nephew". My condolences go out to my aunt Betty and cousins. God bless you all.

Betty and kids, we all know James will be missed by family and friends. Every year when I came out for vacation I made my annual visit with him, he always had something to talk about and would help anybody in a pinch. I know my brother, Johnny Collins has missed being around James since he moved but I'm glad they got to talk to each other on the phone. Please know that you are in my heart and prayers.
Always a Friend, Donna Akin-Carlson, Topeka,KS
