Jeffery D. Boyle

President of Buckman Mitchell Inc. Jeffery D. Boyle, President of Buckman Mitchell Inc., age 62, passed away May 10, 2010, in Visalia. Jeff was born in San Diego, CA in 1947. He was raised in San Diego CA and spent his summers working on the family farm in Farnam, Nebraska. He attended school in San Diego and graduated from San Diego State with a Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration. He was married to Gail Younie in 1969. In 1972 he was blessed with his first son, John and in 1975, another son Scott. In 1975, the family moved to Visalia. Jeff began his insurance career in the early 70's and in 1990, he joined Buckman Mitchell, Inc. He was President and Chief Operating Officer of Buckman Mitchell, Inc. and BMFIS. He held the Agribusiness & Farm Insurance Specialist (AFIS) designation and was a director on the Insurance Brokers and Agents of the West - Agribusiness Committee. He loved sports, the outdoors, and restoring cars. His favorite times were spent with his family, and he loved playing with his two granddaughters. He was preceeded in death by his father Harold, youngest sister Debbie, and father-in-law Jack Younie. Survivors include his wife Gail, his sons John and Scott (Amy) of Visalia, granddaughters Ella and Scarlett, mother Evelyn May of San Diego, brother David (Aneta) of Kansas, sister Shelley (Dale) of San Diego, mother-in-law Ellen Henzler (John) and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held Friday May 14 at 10:30am at the Visalia United Methodist Church at 5200 W.
