Philip Dennis Ribeiro
Tulare - Philip Dennis Ribeiro, 83, Tulare, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2021 surrounded by his loved ones. Philip was born to Mary and Filipe Ribeiro on May 15, 1938 in Tulare, California. He attended St. Aloysius and graduated from Tulare Union in 1956. He continued his family legacy on the dairy with his brother, Manual, and eventually his son, Philip. He married the love of his life of 59 years, Rosemary, in September 1961. He is survived by his siblings, Manual Ribeiro and Maryann Laber, his wife, his 5 children, Kathleen Kerr (Joe), Rosemary Fernandes (Greg), Michele Rose (Steve), Tricia Faria (Ricci), and Philip Ribeiro (Dana), 13 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren with another on the way. Philip worked on the family dairy with his father and brother before taking over following his father's passing. Together they grew the dairy to greater success, and eventually his son joined to continue his legacy. They worked closely together up through the sale of the dairy before moving on to commercial property management. His new work allowed him and his wife to travel to any and all activities the grandchildren had. He attended every game, show, and graduation that he could and would always be found cheering his family on. Philip and Rosemary moved part-time to Arroyo Grande, CA, where they loved to spend their free time in between events. They were regulars at the Melodrama where they could be seen with both friends and family. He enjoyed going wine tasting with his family and he was an avid outdoorsman. Any opportunity to golf or work outside, he would take. He will be dearly missed by everyone that had the chance to know him.
Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m on Thursday, June 17th, at St. Aloysius Church with mass to follow. Graveside Service will be at North Tulare Public Cemetery after Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that remembrances be made to the Alzheimer's Association
