Ray Nunez Obituary

Ray Anthony Nunez

Dec. 12, 1964 - July 30, 2016

Tulare

On the day of December 12, 1964, Ray Anthony Nunez was born to Bobby Nunez (Pittsburg, CA) and Esther Corral (Tulare, CA)

As a very young boy, Ray had something just a 'lil more special about him. He exceled at whatever he put his mind to. Ray set very high goals for himself: #1 to make his mother proud of him, which he succeeded by always being the apple of her eye. As Ray attended Lincoln Elementary, Mulcahy Jr. High on top of devoted himself to his church by being head alter boy and right at the side of Father Gonzalez every Sunday at Mass.

Ray had charm, charisma, ambition on top of being very handsome and intelligent with a personality that made you want to be around him and just laugh about anything. Ray graduated from Tulare Western in 1983, which led into a career in hotel management. He also loved his music and took a cruise in his mighty Monte back in the day with some Howard Hewitt.

Ray's two sons bought him much joy. Adrian Flores, 27, of Florida and Joshua Carlos Gonzalez Raquejo, 15, of Tulare, CA.

Ray's last move for him and Joshua was to Las Vegas, NV before finally returning home to Tulare. Ray's survived by his brother Robert Nunez, Tulare and sister-in-law and dear friend Ramona (Monie) Ochoa, Tulare, his sister Janet Charleen Gonzalez, Tulare; a nephew, Robert ('lil man) Nunez, Tulare, 2 nieces Candace Gonzalez, Tulare and Stephine Nunez, Tulare, 2 brothers, Bobby Joe, Bobby Ray, San Jose, CA, sister, Michelle Nunez, San Jose, CA, brother Che Nunez and sister Mia Nunez, Pittsubrg, CA.

Ray was proceeded in death by his grandparent's George and Josephine Corral, his two nieces, Carolann and Catelynn.
