To the Family & Friends of Richard Rogers,
Richard provided all of us involved in agriculture and the farm show in Tulare a great deal of leadership, inspiration, creativity and pride. Richard was a real farmer, was proud of that and left a legacy that we can all embrace and appreciate.
Richard was a man that insisted on inclusion. As a leader, he involved all interested parties and stakeholders in the key decisions and direction of the organization. He was a tremendous problem solver. (Remember making the world's largest milkshake?)
During my fifteen years as General Manager at the Agri-Center and the farm show, Richard was actively involved. I looked up to him for advice, encouragement, direction, mentorship and he was my friend.
In my opinion, the farm show grounds will always be "Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood!"
God bless you.

To the Rogers Family;
My condolences on the passing of Richard. My fond memories of him go back to my early elementary school years. There was always a smile on his face and a positive personality. He was never a stranger to me. May God bless and comfort all of you.

The loss of someone with such an overpowering presence and love for his fellow man has left so many of us with great sadness. The Bible speaks about those that are never "a respecter of persons".
This was Richard. Always depending upon his advice, Dick, his brother-in-law. will truly not find a replacement and the void is great. I know how much his kindness extended to our whole family and we all will miss him. Thank you Richard for being you and loving us without condition.
