Angeline Marcotte Obituary

Angeline (Lee) E. Day Marcotte

Milbank, SD - Angeline (Lee) E. Day Marcotte passed peacefully on August 21, 2025.

Today we celebrate the life of a woman, who gave her whole life to the service of others. Loosing our first child while in nursing school, wrapping herself so tight, the child was stillborn, but she wouldn't give up. A Lebanon, NH doctor made it possible for her to graduate from Mary Hitchcock Nursing School, Class of 1973.

She could love without being loved, even by her sisters Betty and Frida, loved by brother Ralph and parents Ed and Freda (Stone) Day.

She was a CCRN, supervisor, dialysis nurse for years out of Franklin, NH, and a travel nurse and aid for VNH.

She leaves behind husband Dennis R. Marcotte; sons Steven, Matthew, Kevin, and Dana; daughters Shanna, Jacquelyn, Janna, and Susan; plus nieces, nephews, dear colleagues, and friends.

She preferred to be cremated and her ashes spread on the shore of Gloucester, MA.

She was born on August 1, 1947.

She was loved by all she touched!

In lieu of flowers, she hoped for donations to thyroid and brain cancer research.

She was last of her line.
