Hartford, VT - Betty Jean Craig, 79 died Sunday, February 2nd, 2025 at her daughter's home in Hartford, VT

She was born January 11th, 1946 in Hanover, NH the daughter of George F and Evelyn A (Straw) Griffin. She attended school in Vershire and Chelsea, VT.

On December 8th, 1962 she married Larry Craig of St. Albans, VT. Together they had four children and lived in Chelsea, VT before later divorcing.

Betty was a hard worker, working at Glen Crest Poultry in South Royalton, VT for 7 years, G.W. Plastics in Bethel, VT, Workspace in Tunbridge, VT, 6 years at H.E.B Manufacturing in Chelsea, VT and at Ethan Allen Furniture in Randolph, VT.

She has lived with her daughter Wendy since December of 2023, due to ill health. She loved her children, grandchildren and her entire family.

She is survived by a son Shane Craig of Atoka, TN, three daughters Wendy DeCoff and Paula Doyle both of Hartford, VT and Lynne Seaver of Williamstown, VT, 7 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, a brother Robert Griffin of Glens Falls, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her ex-husband Larry Craig, her brother George Griffin Jr., and two sisters Janice Shepard and Ruth Sweeney.

In accordance with her wishes there will be no public funeral services.
