John Rezzonico Obituary

John Rezzonico

Quechee, VT — John Rezzonico, 82, passed away January 16, 2022 at DHMC with his wife and daughter by his side.

He was born in Newark, NJ to Irene and Rudolph Rezzonico on September 12, 1940. After high school graduation he joined the US Army where he served as an MP. He worked at various jobs in the Newark area and was eventually encouraged by his employer to attend college. It took almost ten years for him to reach his goal, but graduated from Fairleigh Dickenson University with a degree in accounting. It was during this time that he met Jacqui (nee Traub) his wife of 52 years. After 4 years of marriage, they moved to Hartford, Vermont because of their love of skiing and the outdoors. He subsequently took up golf and remained an avid lifetime golfer. He had a quick wit and contagious sense of humor as well as an appreciation of all kinds of music. John specialized in tax accounting and has helped thousands of clients during his 50 year career, many of whom became friends as well.

He is survived by his wife, Jacqui, a daughter Vanessa Rezzonico and a sister, Ann Perrette. He is predeceased by a brother, Rudolph Rezzonico.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Humane Society or American Red Cross.

A celebration of Johns life will be held at the home of Vanessa Rezzonico in June. Details will be provided at a later date.
