I knew Joe Yukica as the Head Football Coach at Boston College. I don't recall any BC player ever lacking respect for Coach Yukica. His behaviour and demeanor were always professional and respectful. I thought of him always as an excellent man and coach. I send my respects and my regards to his family. I think anyone that knew Coach Yukica would echo my comments as well.

Jim Dooley played football at Penn State with Joe and as a family we have fond memories of visiting him in Hanover NH. Wonderful and dedicated coach to so many learning the game. Our deepest condolences, Nancy Higgins Dooley and family.
