Judy has been close to our family for over 50 years. She helped us bring up our four children, Mary, John, Whit, and Jim. After I remarried she was part of my new family and close to my husband, Peter Bird Martin. In the last 8 years she has visited us at Kendal in Hanover, written many, many cards and sent them in home made envelopes. I have them all and if anyone would like to have them please call me at 603-643-5320. I do not now any family members and am unable to come to the service on Tuesday which I would dearly love to be there to say my goodbyes.

I did not know Judy had died and my husband, Peter, and I (Lu Martin) am so so sad. When I last talked with her she was fine so I am doubly sad. I will share the obituary with my four children who I know will want you to know how special she was to us all.

My mother knew Judy, and I met her when she’d visit her. She always sent Mom her homemade cards; she was so creative. She’d sometimes stop with her dog after going to yard sales, and often had a loaf of homemade bread or cookies to share. I didn’t know her well, but I always appreciated the kindness she showed Mom.
