My condolences to Nancy's family. I was lucky to work at State Street School in Windsor at the same time as Nancy. She became a special friend during those years.

Dear Family of Nancy,
All of my memories of Nancy are sweet and enduring. My connection with Nancy goes back in time to State St. School. She was our Librarian and you could always count on Nancy to find whatever anyone was looking for. I´d wander in at times just to listen to her reading to a class of children. She loved having children around and she loved books. We would often have lunch together in the library when it was closed. She would have VPR Classical playing softly in the background and we would talk and catch up on the latest school news. Quite often she would have an award winning children´s book selected for me to read. The stories were beautifully illustrated and the stories themselves always made me smile. She was always thoughtful and considerate of others and a pleasure to be with. She will be missed by her Family of Friends at State St. School and I for one will always keep her close in my heart.
With Love & Sympathy,

I knew Nancy by her endearing grandmother name "Meme" (pronounced "mee-mee"). I will always remember fondly Meme´s bright smile and hospitality when she hosted us in Windsor. My husband (one of Meme´s grandchildren) most certainly gets his extroversion from her. Her light shines on in the family and community she loved. Sending big hugs and prayers to those closest to this loss. Meme will be greatly missed.
