Dear Claire, Alisa & Eric:

I have such wonderful memories of your husband & father. Tom was a good man and treated me with such care at a very difficult time in my teenage life, he listened and offered good counsel that I am grateful for to this day. I will always think of him with affection. Rest in peace Tom Vogel.

Thank you, Tom.
I had the pleasure of working for you at SMMA during some of the most challenging times for the architectural profession. It was your steadfast vision and your dedication to architecture, the firm and, first and foremost, the professional staff that shone so brightly in hard times. Great leader, staunch advocate for good design and a friend.

It is with great sadness that I learned of the pasing of my dear friend and partner Tom Vogel. Tom was an inspiration to me during our 18 year partnership with Symmes Maini and McKee Associates, resulting him in bringing the firm to a higher architectural design respect and guiding the firm to a model of integrated architectural and engineering design.
His devotion to quality pentrated the entire firm. His leadership qualities elevated the growth of the firm during his time of President and CEO. Not to mention his people skills. We shall all miss him.
