Wayne Churchill Obituary
Wayne Stephen Churchill Jr.
West Lebanon, NH - Wayne Stephen Churchill, Jr., 49, of West Lebanon, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on July 31, 1976 in Lakeland, Florida, Wayne will be remembered for his tender heart, caring spirit, and deep devotion to family.
A 1994 graduate of Lebanon High School, Wayne was a lifelong learner who returned to school as an adult, earning his college degree through the University of New Hampshire's online program. He built a rewarding career in logistical supply management, where his strong work ethic and sense of responsibility shone through in all that he did.
Wayne loved deeply and lived with joy, finding happiness in simple moments and laughter with those he loved. He was known for his thoughtfulness and his gift for bringing people together. Whether planning extended family outings or creating small special memories, Wayne was always there-steadfast, caring, and full of heart.
His greatest pride and joy were his children: Nessa (21), Samuel (9), and Genevieve (6), whose lives were forever brightened by his affection, humor, and encouragement. He also shared a very close bond with his partner Whitney's children-Mack, John Evan, and Aaron-who quickly stole our hearts and are part of our family. In addition, Wayne is remembered with love by his stepchildren, Ashlee and Mars, whose lives were also brightened by his kindness and care.
He is survived by his partner, Whitney, who supported and cared for him over the past two years; by his parents, Wayne and Tina Churchill of West Lebanon, NH, who lovingly cared for him in his final months; and by his mother, Janice Moore of Riverview, FL, who supported him from afar. Wayne is also survived by his sisters, Sara (& Brian) and Hannah, and his brothers, Jackson (& Kylie) and Dante. He leaves behind his grandmother, Rosemarie Churchill (89), as well as many dear friends, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews who will forever hold his memory close.
A Celebration of Wayne's Life will be held on Sunday, October 26, at 1 p.m. at the Cornerstone Community Center, 14 Elk Street, Hartford Village, Vermont. Please bring a dish to share as we celebrate his life together. All who knew and loved him are welcome to gather in remembrance of his warmth, humor, and generous heart.
