Len Wagoner Obituary

LEN WAGONER, 64

Len Allen Wagoner, passed away January 28, 2025. Len was born in Buffalo Wyoming on May 22 1960, to Allen and Josephine Wagoner. In 1967 the family moved to Plains Montana, where he was raised and got his education.

In August 1979 he met Carleen Arndt, and they were married December 28th 1979, in Buffalo Wyoming. In 1980 they moved to Plains. They had 2 awesome boys, Rocky and Dustin.

Though Len could have made a living being a comedian with his quick wit, he was a logger at heart. He spent most of his logging career as an independent contractor. He also worked in a mine, the oilfield, as a mason, carpenter, and spent many seasons as a wildland firefighter. He also had a sawmill business on the side. Whatever it took to put food on the table and to keep the bills paid.

One of the things Len enjoyed most was watching his boys and grandchildren at their sporting events. He coached little guy wrestling for many years. I'm sure anyone who was there can remember hearing him.

Len is survived by his wife Carleen, sons Rocky (Tessa), Dustin (Rose). Grandchildren Carlie, Westin, and Opal, 3 nephews, 2 nieces, 3 aunts, and numerous cousins.

In lieu of a donation, take a child fishing, hunting or trapping, and thank a veteran for their service, or spend some time with your loved ones making great memories. A celebration of life will be held for Len around the end of May, when the weather is a bit more favorable.
