Edward Bryce Obituary

Edward Jefferson Bryce was born Feb. 22, 1922, in Kiowa, Okla., and passed from this life to be with our Father Oct. 19, 2006, in Hesperia. Edward was a very loving man, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather. He was very deeply devoted to his wife, Helen. Edward and Helen were married for 62 wonderful years at his passing. He was very kind, caring and compassionate, always reaching out to help someone in need. Edward put smiles on the faces of everyone he came in contact with. He will be missed by all who knew him, especially me. Edward is survived by his wife Helen and children Nancy Luxsamana of Hesperia, Joseph Bryce and wife, Cheryl, of Atascadero, Richard Bryce and his wife, Mikey, of Oroville, Cecelia McCorkle and her husband, Larry, of Marshfield, Mo., and George Bryce and his wife, Cindy, of Bullhead City, Ariz. Edward is also survived by grandchildren Christopher Bryce and his wife, Kathy, of Victorville, Adam Luxsamana and his wife, Kelly, of Hesperia, Cindy Mitchell and her husband, Sean, of Atascadero, Brian Bryce and his wife, Jessica, of Atascadero, Ritchie Bryce and his wife, Michele, of Oroville, Kim Bode and her husband, David, of Mahomet, Ill., Lisa Jacobson and her husband, Brian, of Batavia, Ill., Mac of Bullhead City, Ariz., and Lacy of Bullhead City, Ariz.; 28 wonderful great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving Edward is his sister-in-law, Jeanne Bryce, and her wonderful family. Viewing will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Kern Hesperia Mortuary in Hesperia. A second viewing will be held at noon Tuesday followed by funeral service at 1 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 9533 Hickory Ave. in Hesperia. A graveside services will follow funeral services at Desert View Memorial Park in Victorville. You are my best friend, Grandpa. I miss you very much! I will never forget you + or the wonderful memories we have shared! Kern Hesperia Mortuary is handling arrangements.
