Another bright and shining star has walked along the path of eternity. As for me, a wonderful classmate whose eye glowed, a reflection of his personality. VVHS Class of 75 will honor and shed a tear when our other classmates are memoralized. May God be with your family SKIP, hold them close, comfort during the lonely times, and bring joy when events of your life shared with those who loved and cared for you.
VVHS Class of 75 honors, and will miss you.

Skip Bright showed me the element of kindness and honesty. I had lost my high school ring in 1973 and Skip had found out that it was mine and returned it to me after I had lost my class ring for 2 weeks. Today when I think of being honest and kind I think of that young man in 1973, Skip Bright, that taught me a simple lesson. Bless all and mercy and Grace to you

I went to HS with Skip...we didn't know each other well, but I do remember he was always very nice. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of Skip's family and friends. God Speed Skip...and watch over those of us down here. God Bless

Skip was my doubles partner in 1974 and 1975. We were simply compatible. (He was steady and I was not.) We won a lot of tennis matches together and a couple pre-season tournaments. We beat some good teams from Quartz Hill and Burroughs. Coach Dudley broke us up a couple times but ultimately put us back together. We had chemistry during those two winning seasons when we played Varsity at Victor Valley High. Those were good times. Thanks partner.

After close to 30 years, Skip and I accidently met at a therapeutic riding competition - CALNET- where he was one of the judges. It was great to reconnect, see his smiling face and that wonderful connection he had for all the special and talented riders. It was fun to know another person who enjoyed Tennis and Horses!

Skip, there probably wasn't enough space in Sunday's Daily Press to express the number of friends you had made and KEPT over so many years; although far too short for me and the family. Forever, my children will remember their Uncle Skip and the many memories that you leave us with. I will never forget your generous spirit and everlasting friendship during the good and bad times we both endured. The last day I saw you was the best day with you. You left an indelible mark on the lives of my five children and our friends from the CATV business. I will not mourn you; I will cherish you forever. I will never forget. J Michael & Grace & Family
