Jackie Lee Brumit
Hi there family & friends. If you are reading this guess what? I'm gone.
My real name is Jackie Lee Brumit but everybody knew me as "Dirty Jack."
I would like to thank you for being my friends and for all the help you have given me and the love you have shown. I love you one and all!!
I was born Oct 16 1946 in Norteast MD (actual town name) Graduated high school from Elkton MD. Next day I was in Marine Corps boot camp. Did the Marine Corps thing (Vietnam and all which I'm proud of! Nuff said)
Met my wife Viola Walton from Barstow (Hartwick's parking lot cruiser hang out) we married on Aug 2 1968. We were married 46 years until she "Bunny" passed on April 28th 2013. We were blessed with a son Byron in 1973.
I'm preceded in death by my parents and one sister and my dear wife "Bunny" Survived by my son Byron, granddaughter Hannah, 5 sisters and 2 brothers, multiple nieces and nephews, many friends and family and hopefully zero enemies!
OK listen up "NO" dang crying. I had a good life full of family, friends, old cars, Marine Corps and drawing, all of which I dearly loved!!
Enjoy life and try your best to do no wrong!
Oh yeah, Jody girl. If you are still alive?

Jack was my neighbor and a very funny beautiful soul... I will miss him driving by the house everyday in the American flag Mustang on his way to Del Taco and the misc. shopping and visiting he would do. I saw him Everywhere .... Staters ,the park in Barstow, and of course Del Taco every time I saw him in town I would walk up to him and say “man you sure get around... he would laugh and say “ yes I do” . Although he didn’t really know me , his presence will surely be missed by me. The day I found out he had passed I was in “His” Del Taco and saw the memorial sign and started bawling like a little baby.... Rest In Peace Jack ....our street will never be the same again without you my condolences to all the family he was one Great soul

Webster's dictionary definition of Friend should read= Jackie Lee
Brumit. This man had the true meaning of friendship in his heart and soul. I miss him coming across the street to give the "furry ones" cookies and loving pats. He made up pet names for each of them. They are grieving for him am I. Love you, Brother by another mother RIP

Jack has always been a good person, always caring for others. One of my memories of Jack was on Thanksgiving morning. I was at the register when I noticed Jack in the next line with about 6 - 8, could have been more, complete boxed Thanksgiving dinners. I asked him what's up, and he said that they were going to give them to the homeless. How awesomely and beautifully caring was Jack and friends?

My dear friend Jack...always so thoughtful and caring. Many a time, on summer days, I would find a refreshing Del Taco coke on my desk at the Marine Base. My workspace was decorated with many special drawings from Jack. Through all his troubles, he had an inspiring attitude and never complained. I miss you already my friend.

Sorry to hear he's passed.....I grew up a half a block from him. I used to hang out at his house with his son Byron, and a bunch of neighborhood kids. Lots of childhood memories there. He even built a half pipe for all us kids to skateboard on. He was a cool guy. Again, I'm sorry to hear he has passed.
