Steven Crabtree
Steven "Darrell" Crabtree, 77, passed away Friday, May 21, 2010, with his family at his side. Darrell was born on June 25, 1932 in Holtville, Calif.
He moved to Barstow in 1973, where he was the Superintendent of the Southern California Water Company for 35 years.
He loved to ride motorcycles and was a member of the CRC motorcycle association for many years. He also was a member of the Over the Hill Gang car club. He loved to travel to classic car shows. He took pride in always being there to take care of an ill family member.
Darrell married Alma Arthur in 1954 and have two children. He was survived by a son, Clark Crabtree; daughter, Penny Fuzie and her husband, Brian of Barstow; grandsons, Brian "Bj" Fuzie Jr., and Kevin Person of Barstow; granddaughters, Alisa Fuzie of Barstow, Shasta Arroyo and her husband, Austin of Sacramento, and Jaimie Crabtree of Louisville, Ky.; sisters, Betty Sanders of Seattle, Wash., Connie Corbon and her husband, Jim of Downy, Calif., and Kim Crabtree of Simi Valley, Calif. He has one brother, Johnny Crabtree of Apple Valley, Calif. He also had six great-grandchildren, Courtney Pierson, twins, Kailie and Kyle Fuzie-Zeller, Austin and Christian Arroyo and Ruby Crabtree. He has numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was loved by all an will truly be missed.
