September 20, 1938 - October 4, 2024
Ada Alvena (Childs) Huffman known to most as 'Neno' passed away peacefully at home on October 4, 2024.
She is preceded in death by her mother Willie Childs and father Alvin Childs, her brothers Richard Childs and Chester Childs, her sisters Sugar Pardue, Alene Kousal, and Hazel Everett.
She is survived by her brother Lester Childs, her daughters Shirley Graham and Catherine Ann Kennedy, her granddaughters Nikki Graham, Christle Ann Kennedy, and Tiffany Ann Kennedy, and her grandson Jacob Foster, her great grandkids Paisley Graham, Grayson Graham, Aiden Hidrogo, and Maxis Foster.
She was a strong, selfless, giving woman who cared for many of her family. She was full of wisdom and gave it honestly. She was fun, loving, and always ready for the next adventure. She was the best mom and grandma.
Come join us to celebrate her life on October 18th at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Memorial Park, 6623 IH-35, S Robinson 76706. Graveside services only.
