Annette West Kelm

Annette West Kelm, 50, of Malone, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2013, at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas following a long illness. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, October 6, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with the Rev. James Heiser officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery in Malone.

Annette was born to Leo and Mildred West on February 7, 1963 in Hillsboro. After graduating from Hillsboro High School in 1981, Annette went on to attend college, work, and live in the Hillsboro area where she met the love of her life, Kenneth Kelm. They were united in marriage on April 22, 1989 at Salem Lutheran Church in Malone. The couple made Malone their home and shared a happy marriage raising their two children.

Preceding her in death were her parents; infant sister, Nannette West; grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.

Left to celebrate her life are her husband, Kenneth Kelm; son, Kenneth Dean Kelm, II; daughter, Harli Kelm; brother, Dewey West; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Martin and Darlene Kelm; brother-in-law, Gary Kelm and wife, Terri; sister-in-law, Cheri Thomas and husband, Luke; nieces, McKenzie and Dani West, Megan Pankhurst, and Haley Kelm; nephews, Bradley Kelm, Cody, Colton, and Kevin Thomas; great-nephew, Brayden Crist; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund or Salem Lutheran Church, 718 HCR 3424 E., Malone TX 76660.
