Cecelia Rutkoski Glenn

Cecelia Irene (Rutkoski) Glenn, 78, of Hubbard, passed away peacefully Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, at her home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, at First Church of God of Hubbard with Pastor Michael Green officiating. Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery in Marlin. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, at Wade Funeral Home in Hubbard.

Cecelia was born Oct. 24, 1933, in Marlin, to Doth Stanley and Frances Ann (Wilganowski) Rutkoski. She was raised in Marlin where she attended public schools. Cecelia lived in Mesquite from 1962 to 1980 where she raised her seven children and worked in antique sales. In 1981, she moved to Hubbard where she was a member of First Church of God and did charitable work of Meals on Wheels and the Food Pantry.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Daniel Rutkoski; and a sister, Virginia Zajak.

Survivors include seven children, James Glenn and wife, Vanneary, of Kennedale, David Glenn of Waco, Chris Glenn of Hubbard, Susan Carson and husband, Jeff, of Oklahoma, Frances Green and husband, Brian, of Heath, Albert Glenn and wife, Cecile, of Valrico, Fla., and Charles Glenn and wife, Maxine, of Balch Springs; seven grandchildren, Jill, Michael, Dewayne and fiancŽ, Danielle, Crystal and fiancŽ, Alan, Cody, Sonny and Austin; two great-grandchildren, Alexander and Annystyn; and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
