Daisy Marquetta Cope Thomas, age 80, departed this life on November 10, 2022 in Waco, Texas.
Marquetta is survived by 3 siblings, 5 children, 11 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. Her sister, Jessie Raye Cope Wilson; brothers David Dean Cope and Ronnie Andrew Cope; son, Matthew Daron Thomas; daughters, Keta Raye Thomas, Desire Darlene Thomas Haddock, Jodi Florine Thomas Andrews; and her son Joe Franklin Thomas ll. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Franklin Thomas; and 4 siblings, sisters Alma Jean Cope Dorsey, Betty Florine Cope Gardenhire; and brothers William 'Billy' Bruce Cope and Randy Franklin Cope.
Marquetta will be greatly missed by her family and friends . A Celebration of her Life is scheduled for 11AM on December 3, 2022, at the First Baptist Church of Valley Mills, 302 Avenue C, Valley Mills, Tx 76689. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Marquetta's life.
