David Hyde Obituary

David Hyde passed away in his sleep the morning of Tuesday June 17th in Springfield, Missouri, having reached the age of 93. He was a good servant of God, family, country and community.

Devoted to God; serving over 40 years in the United Methodist church in Waco Texas. He was a protective and dedicated husband of his wife Frances for 68 years. He is also survived by his two sons, and three grandchildren. He served briefly in the Korean War, worked for many years in the Civil Service, moving from state to state, before retiring. Afterward he then served as a volunteer in the ER at Providence Hospital in Waco Texas for 21 years.

Memorial services will be held at The Heights Church in Bolivar Missouri at 10:30 on June 27th. The family has asked for donations to Woodway United Methodist Church (21000 Woodway Dr, Woodway, TX 76712), or the University of Arkansas (481 South Shiloh Drive, Fayetteville, Ar. 72704) in lieu of flowers. Please include his name in the memo.
