He grew up in Dallas where he graduated from Adamson High School in 1949, and married Shirley Ann Spearman in 1951. Together they had four children. Joe worked for the Majestic Theater and drove streetcars in Dallas. He worked for Mobile Oil Company before starting his life-long career in the fastener business. Joe was active in the Baptist Church as a deacon and in men's groups. He was a member of the Lions Club and ran for school board for the Alief Independent School District after moving to Houston. I have so many good memories of my Uncle Joe over the years. He was always the young, fun uncle who was in to music and comedy. I remember visiting him in many different cities and homes. Although he'll be missed here, I'm glad he's out of his pain and can enjoy his new home with Christ. His brothers and sister are waiting to welcome him home. It's a shame this stormy weather had to limit those who could be there today. We're with you in spirit. Our condolences to all the family.

Joe was quite a guy, a great man, and a fine gentleman, and a mentor.
He was always having fun when he would come out to the Mars Plant to fill the Nut/Bolt cabinets. It was always a great enjoyment/pleasure to see him there. And I knew 'he' was 'very important', to help keep our Plant running!!! I thank GOD that 'Joe' Morrow has been in and a part of my life!!! Condolences, Sympathy, Prayers to the familyand friends. May GOD grant you comfort and peace. Joe will be greatly missed by 'many'. Ronny Bredemeyer (Sr. Mech. P&S. Ret.)
