Homer Campbell Harwell Jr., 62, unexpectedly passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021, at Providence Hospital in Waco, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, February 22, at Bellmead Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 23, at White Rock Cemetery 2533 Ross Road, Elm Mott, Texas 76640.
He was born September 7, 1958, in Waco to Homer Campbell Harwell Sr. and Martha Culverhouse Harwell Cagle. He was a 1978 graduate of Connally High School and achieved an Electronics Degree from Texas State Technical Institute. He lived his entire life in Elm Mott and Bellmead, Texas. He began his work at Renschlers, and eventually became a mechanic for Midway ISD and Durham Transportation. He enjoyed substitute school bus driving as well. H.C. had the ability to repair anything and everything. He enjoyed many hobbies including baseball, softball, umpiring, and refereeing. Most of all he loved to tinker with his RC cars and Planes. He loved all six of his grandchildren with his whole heart.
He was preceded in death by his younger brother, Duane Harwell.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Jennifer Harwell; daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Michael Suter; grandchildren, Abrianna, Deryn, Heyli, Kaelyn, Easton, and Colton; mother and father, Martha Culverhouse Harwell Cagle and Homer Campbell Harwell Sr.; brothers, Cameron Harwell and Chapan Harwell.
