Jerry Wayne Smith, age 75, of Valley Mills, Texas, passed away Wednesday, January 25, at Providence Hospital in Waco. Funeral services will be 10 A.M. Monday, January 30th, at the Valley Mills First Baptist Church with Dr. John Wheatley officiating. Interment will follow at the Valley Mills Cemetery under the direction of Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
Visitation will be 2 - 4 P.M. Sunday, at the First Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to the Valley Mills Fire Department.

Remember Jerry when he was a county commissioner. We use to talk at county conferences, and enjoyed the conversations. Heard he was a superior BBQ man! He was always a nice man. Condolenses to his family.
