My name is Judy Cook and I worked with Kathlyn at Alcon for many years. I always enjoyed talking with her. She had such a sense of humor and always willing to help anyone. May God give you comfort in your time of grief. She was truly a special lady.

As about the oldest friend of Kathlyn, I can only express my regret at her passing. We have shared so many things since first meeting when we were in the fourth grade. From that time through high school graduation, our lives followed much of the same route. Different colleges, different states, and different travels separated us, but we always shared whenever we met. My concern goes to Don, the girls, and the grandchildren.

Dearest Donna and family,
I was saddened to hear of your lovely mother's passing. Wow, she was amazing! Thank you for sharing a little of your family so long ago when we were young. I know you have wonderful memories to hold on to. Love to you and your family.

Don, I worked with Kathy at TCU and also at Alcon for many years. It was always a pleasure. I retired from Alcon in 1992 so have not seen Kathy since then. She was a fine lady and I am sure you will miss her. May God be with you during this difficult time.

To Don and the Girls,
Kathlyn was a sweet lady who always had a smile for me when I saw her in church. I wish I could make the sadness go away from your hearts, but I can't. I will pray for God to give you comfort.

Dearest Don and Family - I was rocked by the sad news about Kathlyn. I worked with her for over 15 years at Alcon. She was a super lady! It amazed me everyday that she drove in to FTW for so many years to her job. I loved to hear her stories. She shared many stories of the family with me and it showed me the love she had for all of her family. It was an honor and a privilege to work with her. Kathlyn's intelligence, sharp wit and charm will be terribly missed by all. I learned a lot from Kathlyn about life. She so reminded me of my mom and what my mom would have been like. My heart goes out to all of you during this difficult time. May God comfort you, give you peace and the strength to help you through it. God Bless You All.....

What a very special person Kathyln was!! It was such a privilege to work with her over the many years at Alcon. I was always both amazed and entertained by her quick wit and had the greatest respect for her technical skills and knowledge. I loved hearing her stories about her family and know that they had a special bond. In many ways she was my mentor...as a mother, grandmother, friend, and co-worker. She will be deeply missed by all.

My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to all those who knew and loved Kathlyn, especially her family. I had the privilege of working with her during the mainframe days here at Alcon. I always enjoyed her insightful conversational conversations about just about anything ... I'll miss her terribly. It’s hard to find comfort in knowing that she is comfortably with our Lord and Savior.. it just hurts.

To the Bice and Robinson Families
It is with regret that we read that Kathlyn had passed away. I (Naomi Levey) started to Texas Wesleyan University the same year as Kathlyn and many others from Meridian. She was so smart and had other outstanding attributes.
My husband (Jim) was acquainted with her at Texas Wesleyan as well as Bell Helicopter.
We wish to express our sincere sympathy to all of you.
