Logan John Mynar, 21, of Riesel, tragically passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 after a car accident.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, February 14, at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel, 5201 Steinbeck Bend, Waco.
Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, February 15, at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Family Land, 246 Lord Lane Riesel, TX 76682.
Logan was born on September 24, 2001, to Charlcie Mynar Woodruff and LeLand Mynar in Waco. Logan graduated from Penn-Foster High School and completed one semester at Texas State Technical College in the solar energy program at the time of his death.
While trying to find a path and purpose for his life, his daughter Lakynn was born. This precious little girl provided Logan with the strength and determination to make hard decisions and he was well on his way to making the necessary changes to become the man he wanted to be.
Logan was preceded in death by his grandfather, Larry Mynar Sr.
He is survived by daughter, Lakynn Nicole Mynar; Lakynn's mother, Kali Trotter; pup, Spaz Mynar; mother and step-father, Ray and Charlcie Woodruff; father and step-mother, LeLand Mynar and Elizabeth Johnson; big brother, Klynt Mynar and wife, Katelyn; little brother, Weston High Mynar; and little sister, Lillie Ann Mynar; grandmothers, Barbara Mynar and Nancy Rothband; and grandfather, Paul Rothband; aunt, Lori Miller and husband, Perry; uncle, Larry Mynar and wife, Karen; aunt, Misty Mynar; uncle, Mark Mynar; as well as many more cousins, extended family, and friends.
Pallbearers are Lane Kemp, Rhody Niles, Terry Pullen, Michael Martin Jr., Patrick Sotomayor, Joshua Thomas, Wade Schronk, William Robert, Wyatt Whorton, Paxton Miller, Ulises Ramos and Robb Fitzke.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Waco Police Association Scholarship Fund.
