In 1972, Mr. Olson Sr. gave me the opportunity of a lifetime, to work in his lawfirm with no previous experience. I will always appreciate his kindness and belief in me that I could succeed in this field. Thirty-three years later, I am still in the field, and I work for my husband an attorney in Southern California. Just a few weeks ago, while talking to a new associate waiting bar results, I told him about the integrity and values held by some of the attorneys I have worked for, and Mr. Olson, Mr. Stem and Mr. Farr were among some of the attorneys from whom I learned the most. Blessings to Mr. Olson's family.

Having enjoyed the privilege of serving with Lyndon Olson on the Board of Directors of the Brazos River Authority, I knew Mr. Olson as a distinguished gentleman. A class act. He was one of the greatest members of America’s Greatest Generation. The epitome of Soldier, Citizen, Statesman.

During my career at Haley/Davis, Lyn Olson was a classic example of a true gentleman who practiced his faith in everyday living and showed his love for God in the way that he treated his fellow man. May God grant his peace and comfort to you as you face Christmas without this great man.
