Nolan Boyd Obituary
1929-2020 - 1935-2021
Celebration to be held Sunday, August 8, 2021, at the First Baptist Church in Lorena.
Visitation with Family starting at 12:30 in Fellowship Hall of the Church with service beginning at 2 p.m., with gospel music concert to follow at 3 p.m.
Nolan S. Boyd married Wilhelmina (Willie) Plemons in May, 1954, at the First Baptist Church in Chilton. Nolan was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Jackson "Jack" and Beulah Spence Boyd; and all his siblings. Willie was originally from Crawford, the daughter of George Washington and Pearl Deason Plemons, and was predeceased by parents and all her siblings.
Survivors are Mike and Debbie Boyd of Lorena; NolaAnn and Jeff Waggoner of Bryan; three grandchildren, Clay, Ed and Lindsey; four great-grandchildren (Kinsley, Cameron, Scout and Brooks); numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
