She is survived by her sister, Sally Sain and husband, the Rev. Fred Sain; grandchildren, Suellen Garza, Craig Hardin and Jan Soechting; five great-grandchildren; two nieces and two nephews.
Jewell requested no flowers; memorials may be made to the Prairie Hill Baptist Church.
