Thelma was a dear lady who was loved by everyone. We always enjoyed her visits when we owned the flower shop in Mexia. She was so cheerful and uplifting. You have our deepest sympathy and wanted you to know, we will always remember her.

Jennifer, Fred, Linda, and Johnny,
I really don't need to tell you all the memories I have of Thelma and of all of you. She was behind us all the way, she made the best peach cobbler in town (and we had good peach cobbler in Tehuacana, too!), she was there for all our dance lessons and helped us get our costumes made, and had a great time helping to raise us. My love and best wishes and sweet memories to all of you. Charlotte Peeples King

To all the children: Your mom was one of the first to hire me to babysit all of you. Great times are remembered living across the street from your family. 16 grand children and 30 great grandchildren??? Wow!!! My deepest sympathy to one and all. Madelyn (Prather) Seets (Las Cruces, NM)

My heart goes out to all of you. Thelma was one of my favorites of all of Mother's friends. She was always so vivacious. I don't think she ever ran out of stories to tell and they were all entertaining! She was so cute and funny. It was always a pleasure to be around her.
May your wonderful memories bring you comfort . She will be missed.
My deepest sympathies to her family,

Linda, my memories of your mom are all good. She had a lot of patience with us girls and tried to keep us on the right track. She made the best twice-baked potatoes I ever tasted. And set the prettiest table. My heart goes out to you and your family. With love

Just a few days ago, I was thinking about Thelma when she came to Dad and Moms Funerals and I was thinking two things--That Indian heritage kept her beautiful and young looking and she would know how I could get in touch with her kids. I really can not say how much I hurt, but it is so deep it is like close family. LOVE YOU ALL!

Please accept my deepest sympathies. I remember when Mrs. Brown was our Cub Scout Den Mother back in the late '40s. A long time ago. She will be missed.
