William Carl Roeder

William Carl Roeder of Waco passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2009, in Waco. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, June 25, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Pastor Paul Krupicka officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Bill was born April 12, 1916, in McGregor, Texas, to Richard and Annie Roeder. He worked at General Tire for 30 years and enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. Bill was a lifelong member of the Lutheran church. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; three sisters; and his wife, Irene Tieman Roeder. Bill is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Chad Wernert, Bret Wernert, Eric Hill, Jonathan Wilson, Clay Farell and Ross Miller. Memorials may be made to St. Matthews Lutheran Church or the charity of your choice.
