Brenda Strizek Obituary
Strizek lived in rural Valparaiso until a couple of years ago and resided in Wahoo. She graduated from East Butler High School in Brainard in 2007 and was working at South Haven Living Center in Wahoo.
While attending East Butler High School she was involved in volleyball for 6 years and was in Touhy Livestock 4-H Club for 10 years.
She is survived by her parents, Mark and Pamela Strizek of Valparaiso; a brother, Travis M. Strizek of Valparaiso; a sister, Lisa A. Strizek of Broken Bow; grandparents, Keith and Marilyn Hanke of Prague and Marvin and Delores Strizek of Valparaiso; great-grandparents, Georgia Codr, Hazel Hanke and Bessie Dvorak; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 13 at Saint Mary and Joseph Catholic Church in Valparaiso.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Aug. 12 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Wadlow Rozanek Funeral Home, 424 Pine Street, in Valparaiso with rosary at 7 p.m. at Saint Mary and Joseph Catholic Church.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
Wadlow Rozanek Funeral Home of Valparaiso is in charge of arrangements.
