Eleanore Rae Elijah, 94, of Omaha, NE, formerly of Ashland, NE, entered into rest on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at The Brant Assisted Living in Omaha, NE. She was born September 27, 1930, in Harlan, IA, to Dale and Dora (Clark) Shipp.
Eleanore was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Edwards; her parents; two sisters; and a brother.
She leaves behind her husband, Charles Elijah; two daughters; a son; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Celebration of Life, Saturday, November 29, 2025, 11 a.m. at Ashland Methodist Church, 1442 Adams St, Ashland, NE. Officiant, Rev. Dave St. Aubin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Ashland Methodist Church.
