Judy Hosack Obituary
Hosack was born Nov. 2, 1950 to John and Louise (Hautzenroeder) Kyker in Lincoln. She grew up in Lincoln and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1969.
She was married to Max Hosack on Aug. 20, 1971 in Lincoln. They lived in Tennessee and North Carolina while he served in the United States Marine Corps. Following that, they lived in Ceresco. She began working at Square D in Lincoln where she worked for 14 years and served as president of I.B.E.W. Local 2366. She moved to Malmo in 2004. Her health declined and she moved into South Haven Living Center in 2006.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Tracy and Robert Hayes, Prague; sons, Chad Hosack and fiancé, Angel of Exeter, and Corey and Megan Hosack of Panama; grandchildren, Nigel and Mikala, John, Dustin, Tiffany, Caden and Gavin; great-granddaughter, Kaylee; brother and sister-in-law, John and Ethel Kyker of Lincoln; niece and spouse, Mary and Alan Phillips; and nephew and spouse, David and Justine Kyker.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 24 at 11 a.m. at Svoboda Funeral Home in Wahoo, with visitation one hour before the service. Rev. Tamara Holtz will officiate.
Inurnment will be at a later date at Alexandria Cemetery in Alexandria.
Memorials in care of the family.
Svoboda Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

I had the pleasure of working with Judy at Square D. Her dedication and compassion for members of IBEW 2366 were endless. She was a wonderful Mom, always talking about Tracy, Chad an Corey...and sometimes bringing them to the Union Hall. Rest in peace Sister Hosack...safe in the hands of the Lord.

I remember Judy as the hardest working, honest and sincerest union president in the history of Square D. She carried so much paper work around with her all the time that I suggested she get a wheeled luggage cart. She was very strong willed and worked hard to represent her members. She never gave up. Judy was a special friend and co-worker. I will cherish the memories of her always. Toni Thomas
