Marvin Ray Ourada

December 11, 1949 - September 2, 2025

Marvin Ray Ourada, 75 of Prague, NE passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2025. He was born December 11, 1949 to Raymond and Gladys (Brecka) Ourada in North Bend, NE.

Marvin grew up on a farm Northwest of Prague, NE, he attended Country School District 80 and graduated from Bishop Neumann High School in 1968. He was united in marriage to Diane K. Arney on May 16, 1970. They Lived in Weston until 1994, they then moved to Marvin's childhood farm Northwest of Prague where he still resided.

Marvin worked for A.W Grain, Wahoo Coop, in 1988 he purchased the Coop Service Truck and started Ourada Tire Service. He was our Tire Man for 37 years, traveling the country side providing great tire service, great conversation and an 'occasional' beer.

He loved a good cold Budweiser bottle, a Marlboro red cigarette, a good joke, watching old Western movies, but most of all he loved polka music. He never missed listening to the polka show and was known to many as the best polka dancer in Saunders County. He loved being with new and old friends, which he had many, he was sure to be the life of the party wherever he went. Anyone that ever met him knew how much he adored his two grandsons and his kids.

Marvin is survived by daughter, Lisa (Scott) Siroky of Prague; son, Martin (Megan) Ourada of Lincoln; grandsons, Logan Ourada, Aiden Ourada; brother, Larry (Cindi) Ourada; sisters, Patty (Rodney) Polodna, Sharon (Ron) Bos, Diane (Ron) Prochaska, Carol Martinez; brothers-in-law, Donnie and Michael Arney of Wahoo, James (Michelle) Arney of Tallahassee; and his dog, Marley; his many nieces, nephews, and all his special friends at the Wild Ride. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Gladys Ourada; his wife, Diane Ourada; his in-laws, Donald and Bonita Arney; brothers-in-law, Ray Arney, John Arney; sisters-in-law, Kathy Abbott, Laurie Jensen.

Celebration of Life, Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 4-7 pm at National Hall in Prague, NE
