Patrick "Pat" Allen Morrill, 74, of Murphy Park Dr. in Brewton, Ala., passed away Monday, Oct. 21, 2024, at his residence after a brief illness.
Born and raised in the Walker-Benedict area, Pat was a former resident of Crestview Fla., and a U.S. Army veteran. He was a retired roofer and attended First Open Bible Church. He loved his family and his dog, Reba, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his daughter, Natasha (Buddy Wood) Morrill of Foley, Ala.; son Dustin Morrill of New York; brothers Lester (Suzy Chapman) Morrill of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Michael Morrill of Chancellor, Ala.; grandchildren Logan Morrill and Kaden Wood; great-grandchild,Messiah Wood; special friends Mandy and Gary Gibson; and many cousins in Minnesota, New York and Florida.
He was preceded in death by parents William Robert Morrill and Ruby Pearl Petrie Morrill; wife Mary Morrill; brother Lex Robert Morrill; and grandchild Kyler Phillips.
A funeral service was held Oct. 26 at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Massingill officiating. Interment is at Sellersville Cemetery in Brewton.
