Dikris Kazanjian Obituary

WALTHAM Dikris Kazanjian, of Waltham, died Sept. 22, 2008. Mr. Kazanjian was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was the beloved husband of Therese "Terry" (LeBlanc); devoted father of Lisa Josephs and her husband, Scott, and Eric, Jill and Kris Kazanjian; loving grandfather of Anya, Aaron and Jacob; brother of Araxie "Sis" Hovsepian and the late Euphrat Kazanjian. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services in the Saint Stephen's Armenian Apostolic Church, 38 Elton Ave., Watertown, will be on Thursday, Sept. 15, at 11 a.m. Interment will be in the Ridgelawn Cemetery, Watertown Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Aram Bedrosian Funeral Home, 558 Mount Auburn St., Watertown, will be on Wednesday, Sept. 24, from 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Armenian Church of Whitinsville, 145 Church St., Whitinsville, MA 01588 (proceeds are for the Armenia Housing Project.)

Dear Terry and family,
I was made aware of Dick's passing too late to attend the wake but wanted you all to know how fond I was of him and how much I admired his courage, his fighting spirit and his good sense of humor. It was a pleasure to be involved in his care though I am painfully aware of how limited wew were in helping him with some very serious health problems. With sincere sympathy to you all.
