Joyce A. Valenti

Joyce A. Valenti, age 70, of Waynesfield passed away 4:31 a.m., Friday, June 18, 2021 at her home. She was born Oct. 20, 1950 in Lima to the late Harold and Thelma (Dunson) Tuttle. She married Glen A. Valenti July 25, 1969 and he preceded her in death Dec. 8, 2015.
Joyce graduated from Waynesfield High School in 1968. She attended North Western Business College and went on to work at Lima Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Waynesfield Baptist Church and enjoyed playing cards at the library. She liked to take care of her flowers and enjoyed reading. Her most favorite thing was spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids.
Survivors include sons: Chad (Krista) Valenti and Brad (Dena) Valenti, both of Waynesfield, grandchildren: Garrett (Summer) Hauenstein, Kiley (Layne Spencer) Valenti, Blake Valenti, Claire Valenti and Cassidy Valenti, great grandchildren: Kamden Hauenstein and Khloe Rosa and brothers: Mike (Kathy) Tuttle of Orlando, FL, Roger (Joyce) Tuttle and Gary Tuttle both of Waynesfield.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Karly Ann Valenti and a granddaughter, Kendra Marie.
The family will receive friends Sunday, June 20th at Waynesfield Baptist Church from 4 to 8 p.m. and 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church. The funeral will be 11:00 a.m., Monday with Pastor Don Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Willow Branch Cemetery and memorial contributions may be given to the church.
