ADELE K. WYATT (Age 93)  
Of Fredericksburg, Virginia passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at her home. Adele, a Herndon Elementary School teacher and First Baptist Church, Herndon pastor's wife, was always active in the life of the church and in sharing her faith. Her heart for ministry was demonstrated through her numerous mission trips and working with students of the English as a Second or Other Language program. The impact she has had on people where she lived and around the world cannot be measured in this life. Mrs. Wyatt was preceded in death by her husband, Leland Wayne Wyatt and son, Jerry Leland Wyatt. Survivors include her son, Donald Wayne Wyatt (Sue); daughters, Sara Jo Meadows (Vic) and Ann Wyatt Browne (Tom); five grandchildren, Wayne Wyatt (Anita), Kent Wyatt (Erika), Leslie Stretton (Matt), Noelle Khodjibaev (Azim) and J.T. Meadows (fiancée Veronica Shipe); 12 great-grandchildren, Olivia, Emily, Luke, Ainsley, Xander, Will, Nolan, Anna, M. J., Noah, Maks and Maggie; and numerous other family members. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 9 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 10 at Chancellor Baptist Church. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
