Beloved husband of 63 years to Jane Law Brown; father of Lucinda "Cindy", Lauri (John), Matthew, and Frances (DR); also survived by many loving cousins, extended family and friends; preceded in death by parents, Hervey and Katherine "Kitty" Brown and his sister, Audrey Gesenhues; Relatives and friends may call at the BORGWARDT FUNERAL HOME 4400 Powder Mill Rd. Beltsville, MD on Tuesday, February 14, from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12 noon; Interment private; Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.

I had the pleasure of working with Dr.Brown at the University of Maryland and also as a client at his Veterinary Office. What an extraordinary man, always willing to help anyone whether human or animal. Always a smile, never a harsh word. My sincere condolences to his family. "Forever in our hearts Dr. Brown".

Dr. Brown was my veterinarian for my first cats, Juno and Horus. He was always very caring and loving with them and patient with me. When Horus would hide somewhere in my house and I would panic because I couldn´t locate him, I would call Dr. Brown for advice about where to look for Horus. I don´t remember what he told me but whatever it was, it calmed me and eventually Horus would reappear. As I said, Dr. Brown was very patient with me.
My deepest sympathies and sincere condolences to Jane and all of Dr. Brown´s family.
