ALEXANDER McDONALD Obituary
ALEXANDER MICHAEL McDONALD (Age 26)
On Wednesday, February 28, 2018, son of the late Virginia "Bunny" McDonald and his surviving father, Christopher T. McDonald, passed away. He is survived by his brother, Christopher W.; and grandmother, Virginia Burkart. He was preceded in death by three grandparents, Francis Burkart, William and Mary McDonald. He is also survived by a host of loving uncles, aunts and cousins. Alex was a Springfield, VA resident graduating from West Springfield in 2009. Alex worked for Fairfax County since he was 17 years old. Most recent years, were at the Norman M. Cole Pollution Control Plant.Viewing will be Thursday, March 8 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Demaine Funeral Home, 5308 Backlick Rd., Springfield, VA. Mass will be held Friday, March 9, 11 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Annandale, VA. Burial will follow at National Cemetery, Falls Church, VA. Reception to follow.

Chris, dad, and Chris, brother and son, I am so very sorry to learn of Alex's passing. Alex should have stayed with us longer but I choose to think Bunny wanted him with her. My sweet Alexandro Chile Pepper! I love you with all my heart. I hope you know how much you were loved during this time on this earth. I know you are with your Mom and Poppy Frank in heaven. For those of thus that remain we remember in Poppy's words to love one another, help one another, until we meet in heaven. I love you Alex!
