ALVIN N. TOWNSEND (Age 69)
On Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Washington Adventist Hospital. Alvin Townsend of Mitchellville, MD. Loving father of Brian and Daniel Townsend, DMD. Grandfather of Darin, II, Daniel, Brooke and Brian Townsend, II. Also survived by many neighbors and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Auburn and Edna Townsend and his brother, Richard "Log" Townsend. A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, January 2, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Rapp Funeral & Cremation Services, 933 Gist Ave. Silver Spring, MD.
