ANDRE WENDELL LEE
September 9, 1947 – June 4, 2022
Andre W. Lee, age 74, passed away on June 4, 2022 in Washington, DC. He was the second of four boys born to Philip F. Lee and E. Theophia Hicks Lee. An artist and avid reader he graduated from Jack Yates High School in Houston, Texas in 1966 where he enjoyed ROTC and won a coveted Worthing Scholarship that he used for college. He moved to D.C. in 1971 where he spent the remainder of his life. Andre's funeral will be on June 24, 2022 at Cedar Hill Funeral Home, 4111 Pennsylvania Ave., Suitland, Maryland 20746; visitation at 11 a.m. and celebration of life service at 12 noon with the burial to follow at the same location.
