ANGIE GEERGES  
Angie Geerges, a former FBI language specialist, passed away on June 30, 2018, at her home in Vienna, VA of natural causes. She was 82. Mrs. Geerges joined the FBI in 1982 and retired in 2007. She played a key role as an Arabic language specialist supporting many investigations deploying around the world. Mrs. Geerges was born in Beni Suef, Egypt in 1935 and was the first in her family to attend university becoming a journalist in Cairo. She immigrated to the US in 1971 with her family. Her Coptic Orthodox faith was central to her life. Survivors include her three daughters, Nevien Tadross, Nermien Riad, and Nesrien (Mimi) Geerges, eight grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. Condolences can be offered at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home, 9902 Braddock Rd., Fairfax, VA, Sunday July 8 at 5 p.m. and the funeral service will be held at St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church, 11911 Braddock Rd., Fairfax, VA, Monday July 9 at 12 noon.
