Dear Mom and Dad,
I think of you both often, missng you both and wishing we could 'chat' for a while and ask you advice on this or that. I know that you both watch over all of us and I can almost hear Dad's chuckle when the situation certainly would warrant it.

Thank you for all that you have given us and me.

Love you both,

Dear Mom,

We have to end your Guestbook, but all our memories of you and Dad will never end. We have all the great moments of our lives, growing up in District Heights to remember, and we thank you for making all the boys reflections of you and Dad.

I am so sorry I could not bring you home one more time. It pains me everyday that I failed you.

I hope that the Lord Jesus meant for you to go to Him on March 3, 2010 to live with Dad, Grandmother, Grandaddy, Aunt Margaret, Aunt Merrill, and all our other relatives.

I will miss you every hour of every day until we meet again in heaven.

Love You.
Miss You.

Your Son,
Chris

Dear Mom,

One year ago today, we laid you in the ground next to Dad. How quickly the days turn into weeks, and then into months. We miss you and Dad very much.
I said the Glorious Mysteries of the Holy Rosary today in your honor.

The weather was much the same as last March 17, just a tad warmer, I think.

Uncle Avie is now with Dad and you, so the haircuts are free.

Love You.
Miss You.
See you soon,
Love,
Chris

March 3, 2011

Mom,

So glad I visited you at Resurrection today. Sunny but cold, yet I felt a warmth glowing within from your presence.
I said the glorious, joyful, and sorrowful mysteries of the Holy Rosary in your honor. We know how much you loved the Blessed Virgin Mary.
We all need the courage, love, and grace that Mary showed throughout her life.
It's been one year, but it seems like yesterday that you were laying in room 4125. I cried alot today. But I smiled too knowing that you are back with Dad, your one true love.
Our lives will never be the same without Dad and now you.
I'm sure all the boys feel the same...we all can't wait to be with you and Dad one day soon.

All our love,
Chris

Dear Mom, It,s been a year since you left us. I think of you everyday. I pray for you and dad every sunday at church. I miss you as much now as a year ago. I love to look thru the old pictures and remember all the good times and memories of you and dad. I will never forget you both and as the years pass by it will comfort me to know that the time to see you again grows closer.
Love to you both forever,
Paul

March 3, 2011

Dear Mom,

All of us were there today as your passed from us into the Lord's arms.
We cried and kissed you, hoping you will be 'allright' with Dad, Jesus and all the other family in eternity.

We love you.
We miss you.
Always.

Just want you to know you will be with us in spirit. You and Dad are not forgotten. I will wish you both a merry christmas first thing in the morning of Dec. 25th and you both will be with us to enjoy the day.
Miss you and love you both.
God give you peace and happiness together forever. Love from Paul

Mom, so good to see you and Dad today on his anniversary. It took almost ten years, but your back with him now.
I prayed the glorious mysteries today, just as we did every year on Dad's death. It was hot today, Florida weather as you'all would say. Loved every minute of being there with both of you.

love you, miss you.

I remember that the Ardoins were some of the first people we met when we moved from NY to MD. They were the nicest family - Jeff and Anne were nice, funny and warm. I was only 10 years old when we met, but they made quite an impression on me. I am so sorry for your loss - Anne was a great lady - she touched our hearts.

Anne was a perfect lady and gracious cousin to us.  She was my mother’s favorite relative; Mom said she always felt safe and happy when Anne was around.  In the years following my mother’s death, I paid tribute to her by trying to make Anne aware of our love for her by sending her notes on holidays and when we went on vacation, letting her know that we loved her for being so good to Mom, and though we didn’t see her often, we were always thinking about her and praying for her.  Chris, the reception you and your wife and relatives put on for us following the beautiful Requiem Mass was absolutely wonderful.  You and your family are a tribute to your mother.  Please know that you and they will be kept in our hearts and prayers  forever.     GOD BLESS YOU.        Xo  Elizabeth

Dear Mom,
Here is another prayer that you loved to recite. Your devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary has passed on to all your family.
Love you, miss you. Chris.

Hail, Holy Queen

Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope! To you do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this vale of tears. Turn, then, most gracious advocate, your eyes of mercy towards us; and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of your womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary!
Pray for us, O holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Dear Mom, We all know your love for the Blessed Virgin Mary. Here is one of your favorite prayers to Mary. Love you, miss you. your son, Chris.

The Memorare

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you I come; before you I stand sinful and sorrowful. O mother of the Word Incarnate! Despise not my petitions, but in your mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Aunt Anne, thank you for your example in both good times and not so good times. In the church perple who lead exemplary lives are called saints. In due couse, we expect to see the church acknowledge what we already know, you were a saint and we will all do what we can to live up to the standard you set. Goodbye for now.

Dear Mom:
Just as Jesus suffered during his passion, you suffered greatly from all of your affictions for over 25 years. Your unconditional faith in our Lord is an example we all should follow. I know you are with our heavenly Father and Dad is there too. I hope I can earn the right to be with you and Dad one day. Our time is short on earth but is eternal in heaven. Love you so much....Dave

I have such fond memories of coming to Aunt Anne & Uncle Jeff's house every year for our vacation. I loved visiting her in Florida. I'll always remember her love for life, her ability to live with adversity, her laugh. I love thinking that now she is with my Mom once again. She was a remarkable woman, whose legacy lives on in her sons and grandchildren.
